Sportsmans Club
Welcome to the Sportsmans Club - Celebrating 25 Years!

Welcome to the Lake in the Hills Sportsmans Club - Home of the Ice Fishing Derby.

The Sportsmans Club was founded in 1986  by several local sportsman, Albert Worden, Jerry Worden, Harold Wright, Mick Carr and Wally Gray.  Jerry Worden is still an outstanding member of the Club.  The Club was established to serve the Fox Valley area men with an outlet for their ideas concerning conservation and good sportsmanship.  The Club does not specialize in any one aspect of the sports world, but instead will provide opportunities for all individuals to participate in their own way.  The Sportsmans Club can give those just beginning or wanting to know more about a particular subject, the opportunity to do so with good results.

The Club has supported the conservation of Woodscreek Lake; raised funds and donated the pavillion on the Indian Trail Beach; supported YAA baseball teams; and has participated in many other projects around the Lake in the Hills Community.

The Club membership meetings are on the 1st Wednesday of the month at the Lake in the Hills Property Owners Association, 1212 Crystal Lake Avenue, Lake in the Hills at 6:00 p.m.  Any person interested or would like to see what the club is about is invited to attend.  New members and volunteers are always welcome.

The club is a non for profit corporation with it's funds to be used for conservaton and other charitable causes.  The membership is open to all Fox Valley area men and women, so come on down and see what we are about.
